Whilst going through the process of being groomed, Julia gives all dogs a health check. This includes checking their teeth, eyes and ears for any signs of infection. Julia also checks for any lumps, bumps or other abnormalities. If anything is found she will inform you so you can have your pet checked by the vet.

Should your pet come in matted, where ever possible Julia will make every effort to save the coat. In some cases this is not always possible, in which case the coat will be clipped off. This will be discussed prior to the groom, along with all the necessary health advice.

Prices quoted over the phone are approximate and include all aspects of a normal groom, these include:

Bathing, Nail cutting,  Plucking hair out of ears if required, Clipping/Hand-stripping, trimming, and anal glands (these are only done at the owners request). I also give the dog a health check looking for any lumps, bumps or infections you may not be aware of that need to be monitored, or may need veterinary treatment.

Additional charges are applicable for special shampoos such as flea bath, tea tree or complete use of baby shampoo.  If matted, an additional charge per each extra quarter of an hour is applied, for the additional time that it takes to groom out the dog.  Hand stripping is also done at extra charge.
