Julia Slocombe is a City & Guilds fully qualified groomer with over 18 years experience. She professionally grooms all breeds of dogs with all temperaments and coat conditions. Julia began her training in London after leaving school and is very proud to be the first person ever to be awarded the coveted "Most Considerate Handler of the Year" award at the Prestigious "Eurogroom" show. Julia has since progressed to win further awards for her grooming. Julia is a proud member of the British Dog Groomers Association, now known as the Pet Care Trust.

Julia lives in Yaxley, Peterborough, with her husband, young son, baby daughter and their family dogs Missie and Poppy.
 

The wellbeing of your dog is Julia's primary concern. Julia also works with old and nervous dogs, as she feels they too have the right to look and feel beautiful. Julia strictly never uses aggressive actions or shouts at a dog, as this does more harm than good. Julia spends her time with these kinds of dogs, by sitting with them or simply talking to them and cuddling them; this reassures them that they will not be hurt.
